The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has revised the composition of the Sub-Committee on Trade Finance constituted under the Niryat Protsahan sub-scheme of the Export Promotion Mission (EPM).

The Sub-Committee is responsible for overseeing and monitoring the implementation of trade finance interventions under the Niryat Protsahan sub-scheme. The revised composition will now apply uniformly across all Trade Finance interventions covered under the sub-scheme.

What Has Been Revised?

The composition of the Sub-Committee on Trade Finance has been revised by the competent authority.

The revised composition is provided in Annexure-I to the Trade Notice and will apply uniformly to all Niryat Protsahan Trade Finance interventions.

Earlier Notifications on the Sub-Committee

The composition of the Sub-Committee had previously been notified through the following Trade Notices:

Trade Notice Date
Trade Notice No. 20/2025-26 02 January 2026
Trade Notice No. 21/2025-26 02 January 2026
Trade Notice No. 25/2025-26 20 February 2026
Trade Notice No. 31/2025-26 06 March 2026
Trade Notice No. 32/2025-26 06 March 2026

These notifications covered the composition applicable to different interventions under the Niryat Protsahan sub-scheme.

Does the Revision Change Other EPM Provisions?

No. The Trade Notice specifically states that all other provisions of the Trade Notices issued under the Niryat Protsahan sub-scheme of the EPM will remain unchanged.

Therefore, the revision is focused on the composition of the Sub-Committee on Trade Finance and does not, by itself, alter the other provisions governing the existing interventions.

Why Is the Sub-Committee Important?

The Sub-Committee on Trade Finance has been constituted to oversee and monitor the implementation of trade finance interventions under Niryat Protsahan.

With the revised composition applying uniformly across all Trade Finance interventions, exporters and other stakeholders involved in these interventions should refer to the updated Annexure-I for the applicable committee structure.

Note for Exporters

Exporters and stakeholders should review the revised composition in Annexure-I and ensure that their internal records and references to the Niryat Protsahan Trade Finance interventions are updated accordingly.

The Trade Notice does not state any change to the other provisions of the earlier Trade Notices.

Conclusion

The revision brings a uniform composition of the Sub-Committee on Trade Finance across all Trade Finance interventions under the Niryat Protsahan sub-scheme of the Export Promotion Mission. Other provisions of the existing Trade Notices remain unchanged.
